Recently, I watched a new Japanese drama called “Brush Up Life (ブラッシュアップライフ),” which features a character who repeatedly restarts her life to secure a human rebirth in her next life. This show inspired me to share my insights and experiences regarding these concepts and how they influence our lives and futures.

Pinyin: jī dé

大家好,欢迎收听新一期的5分钟中文。我最近看了一部新的日剧, 叫《重启人生》。这部剧讲了一位30多岁的普通女性,为了能够在来世转世为人,决定多次重启自己的人生。
在这里我不会剧透太多,但是呢,今天想借着这部剧,和大家聊聊中日文化中共有的这种积德和转世观念。
在中国,积德转世的思想深受佛教、道教和儒家的影响。佛教讲究因果报应,认为一个人的今生的善行会影响来世的命运。积德就是通过帮助他人、修身养性的方式,来积累善行和德行,进而改变自己或者家人的未来。在道教信仰中,修德积善可以延年益寿,甚至在死后得到更好的转世或成仙。而儒家则强调道德修养,认为积德行善不仅有利于个人,还能造福后代。
与西方的基督教传统不同,因为基督教强调通过信仰获得救赎,死后灵魂上天堂。而在中国的传统观念里呢,生命是轮回的。今生去世后,会投胎转世,重新开始一段新的生命。那你投胎到什么样的地方,什么样的家庭,或者能否重新投胎做人,都与今生的行为直接相关。如果你今生作恶多端,可能下辈子就要变成牛、马等动物,甚至像电视剧中一样变成一条鱼、一只蚂蚁之类。相反,如果你行善积德,下辈子可能投胎到一个好家庭,从而过上美好的人生。
中国的语言中也有很多跟转世有关的表达。比如“积点口德吧”,意思是说话要善良,要避免说那些恶言恶语。还有人抱怨的时候会说“我上辈子一定是做了什么坏事儿,这辈子才过得这么难”。这些都是反映了转世和因果的文化。
总结来说呢,中国的积德转世文化受到佛教、道教和儒家的深远影响。它教导人们在生活中积累善行。因为这个除了影响今生的命运,还会影响来生的轮回。
